Sedumi

Sedumi

SeDuMi is a software package to solve optimization problems over symmetric cones. This includes linear, quadratic, second order conic and semidefinite optimization, and any combination of these.

SeDuMi is 100% free. It is released under the GNU/GPL open source license.

SeDuMi is written in Matlab and C and it runs under Matlab. It runs on any platform where there is Matlab and there is a compiler installed in Matlab. This includes Windows, Linux, Unix, AIX, Solaris, MacOS. Due to the general lack of compilers shipped with windows we provide some generic binaries for Windows. On other systems this is not a problem.

SeDuMi is using its own Matlab based input format. The description is in the users's guide. You can find converters for other input formats (SDPA, sparse SDPA) in the Links section.

Yes, but it is a bit tricky. Some people have managed to compile it, but they needed to modify the source code of SeDuMi to make it work. For more details see this forum thread. The build is about an earlier version.
